50 Things To Do This Weekend pt.2

Posted in:

So a little while ago, I wrote up a little list of 50 different things to do at the weekend.

I really enjoyed thinking up ideas, and I know you guys liked them too! So I thought I’d see if I can think of 50 more to get our adventurous, creative juices flowing!

Because what’s life without a little adventure? And something a little bit different? Here’s 50 things to do this weekend!

Create a corkboard/inspiration board

Turn your photos/Instagram snaps into polaroids and create a scrapbook

Knit yourself a scarf or socks etc.

Buy a ukulele (a beginner’s one isn’t too much!) and start learning

Do a sport you haven’t done since school – badminton anyone?

Visit a relative and ask them to tell you a story

Go to a restaurant and order something you don’t understand

Try a new hair-do – there’s so many plait hairstyles on Pinterest to try

Do some off-road cycling

Start making homemade Christmas cards

Get your friends together and chip in for a hired bouncy castle

Visit a nearby relic or landmark – a castle, independent museum etc.

Go to the park and relive your childhood for a while

Go to a still life art class

Head to your local animal shelter and volunteer to walk a dog or two

Write a hand written letter and send it to someone

Host a Christmas dinner party – get people to bring certain courses or do it all yourself!

Create your own popcorn with new, exciting flavours

Go through old baby photos, always guaranteed a giggle

Find an outfit in those childhood photos and try to recreate it – put the outcome on social media

Follow a river and see where it takes you

Head to Go Ape and test out your monkey skills

Experiment with different hot chocolate flavours

Go ice skating

Make/customise your own Christmas jumper

Buy a cheap throw and customise/embroider it yourself

Pizza party! Gather some friends and get a whole load of different toppings

Pick a random destination and drive there – explore the town/village

Try a trampolining class

Wake up before sunset and take photos
Sort through your wardrobe and create an outfit combination you’ve never worn before

Or sort through your wardrobe with friends Carrie Bradshaw style

Make your own candles, use them as quirky homemade Christmas presents

Go to an old school cinema (e.g. Duke of York in Brighton)
